Truman, along with C. Ridel appear to Ryoma after Maxwell is defeated by Ryoma's hands. He arrogantly states that Maxwell's abilities aren't up to their standard. However, both of them are quickly defeated by Ryoma.
In the anime, Truman only had a short appearance, being one of the defeated prospects of Ryoma.
