Rocky is one of the 24 participants of the U-17 US Selection of the No.14 player. He is from Pennsylvania.
He eventually became a USA representative.
Appearance[]
He has feminine facial features but a muscular build with tattoos on both his upper arms.

Initially he seems polite since he introduced himself to Ryoma right after his fellow teammate was crushed by Ryoma.

Rocky fights Ryoma for the slot of being a US representative
Rocky appears right after Ryoma defeats his fellow team mate, Maxwell, praising Ryoma and calling Maxwell a "Runaway Train". Ryoma has a match with Rocky shortly after Ryoma defeats all the other prospects, including C. Ridel and S. Truman.
Rocky was the last one to have a match with Ryoma. The audience claims him to be as good as Ryoma but he is overwhelmed by Ryoma's Samurai.
Pre-World Cup Exhibition Match[]
He is seen to be a member of the USA Representatives.
Prior to the U-17 World Cup[]
During the practice matches before the finals, Rocky interrupts with Maxwell who was then reprimanding Ryoma for being a wimp despite the finals being near. Rocky then reminds Maxwell of how strong Ryoma is as he was able to defeat both of them easily when Ryoma first arrived at the camp.
Later on, as all representatives were done fighting with Ryoma, Rocky is also ordered by Ralph to fight against Ryoma. To their surprise, Rocky also easily scores against Ryoma. Later on, as Ryoma leaves the team, Rocky says that he can come back anytime if he does not want staying with the Japanese team.
Playing Styles & Techniques[]
According to the Official Fanbook Volume 23.5, he is a left-handed counter-puncher.
It is commented he is just as good as Ryoma. Even Ralph Rhinehart praised his abilities, so did the other participants. However, he was defeated by Ryoma when Ryoma used Samurai.
The wild fighter who knocks out the enemy with power! At first glance he was a guy appointed by captain Ralph. Once Ryoma defeated him, he won the seat of representative with his persistent will.

- Since he’s from Pennsylvania, he used the stairs daily for training.

- His name was previously translated as Meledies, however, it was officially confirmed as Meredith on December 22nd, 2015.
- Rocky is probably based on Rocky Balboa from the Rocky movies. Both are southpaws and come from Pennsylvania and Rocky Balboa's coach, Micky Goldmill, is played by Burgess Meredith, supplying our Rocky's surname.
- His Japanese Voice Actor also plays Takeshi Momoshiro.
