Kikumaru Was Read By Niou is the 120th episode of the Original Prince of Tennis series. It was first aired on February 11, 2004.
The Golden Pair is up for number two doubles against Rikkai Dai's Masaharu Niō and Hiroshi Yagyū. They play Australian formation right off the bat. It seems like the Golden Pair has made some good points, but the first game is not secure.
The Rikkai Dai pair is reading the way Eiji Kikumaru is moving because of the way he tilts his racket. No matter where Eiji hits the ball, it is always returnable or is caught by the net. Eiji doesn't know why and when Golden Pair try to switch formations into one called Two Top the same exact problem occurs.
Finally Ryoma discovers the habit and let's Eiji know of it, but by that time Eiji has lost his calm confident demeanor and is very frustrated. He even starts yelling at Ōishi, something never heard of in this legendary team. There seems to be no hope for the Golden Pair in this match.
New Moves IntroducedEdit
