Golden Age 170: Pride of an All Japan Representative
Golden Age 172: A New Enemy

The audience cheers for both Germany and Japan. Tokugawa admits that they were completely defeated, but says they still managed to put up a good fight.

-Tokugawa chases after Ryoma and is out of breath when he reaches him.

  • Tokugawa: "I haven't had the chance to thank you yet... for saving me during the training camp." He also asks Ryoma to return to the Japanese team.
  • Ryoma: "Please do not misunderstand, Tokugawa-san. By becoming the enemy of the Japanese team, I will defeat the guy I want to beat."
  • Tokugawa after listening to that: "That's very like you... before, I was also content with aiming for one guy. But now my aim is the top of the world instead."

The American reps appear behind Ryoma, chatting. Ryoma smiles when he sees them.

  • Ryoma: "We, the American reps, will become the world's No. 1!"
