In the manga, Hill is introduced with Ramon as they plan to warm-up, trusting that Dorgias would win his match against Kintaro. Unfortunately, Dorgias forfeits the match after a cormorant got hit, making Hill and Ramon unable to play their matches as Japan already wins three consecutive sets against their team.
In the anime, Hill and Ramon both had cameo appearances as they had no lines. They were first seen during the Pre-World Cup with the other Australian representatives. Later on, they were seen watching Milky and Mac's game against Fuji and Atobe. They were surprised with Dorgias taking the Singles 3 game for them to have their first win. Hill and Ramon also cheered Dorgias on during his match against Kintaro. Eventually, Dorgias forfeits his match and exits with the other representatives with their loss against Japan.
