Battle Ceremony is the 118th episode of the Original Prince of Tennis Series. It was first aired on January 28, 2004.
Bunta Marui, the volley specialist. Jackal Kuwahara, the defense specialist. Masaharu Niou, the man with the moves. Hiroshi Yagyū, the gentlemen. Akaya Kirihara, the Junior ace. Renji Yanagi, the master. Genichirou Sanada, the best player in the juniour high circuit and the Emperor. The players of Rikkai Dai, minus the captains.
They seem intimidating and they are but Oishi lets them know that Seigaku is going to win and that definitley lightens the mood of the matches and pleases the members of the Seigaku team now referring to Oishi as the captain.
The match with Takeshi Momoshiro and Kaoru Kaido vs. Bunta and Jackal begins by observing their odd pre-match habits of eating cake and shaving heads. Kaidoh and Momo end up winning the first game but that doesn't continue for long. The Rikkai Dai pair used the first game to read their movements so now they can counter.
Bunta uses his Rising Shot and Jackal is like a wall of defense. The Dunk Smash and the Boomerang end up not working against them. But they have not yet shown them what they have achieved in camp. They use their Super Dunk, which everyone agrees to be a lame name, and Hadokyu Boomerang to overcome their opponents. But then another thing has to be rememberd as well. RikkaiDai has not taken off their weights meaning they aren't showing us everything yet either.
